moriana respects your privacy. this policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we handle it. it applies to all visitors of moriana.eu.

data we collect

we only collect personal data you voluntarily provide: when contacting the studio, your name, email address and message; when ordering, your name, email address, and delivery address if the object is shipped.

payments are handled by Mollie. we never see or store your card or bank details.

we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find the studio, but only if you give explicit consent via the banner on your first visit. if you refuse, no analytics data is collected. see the cookies section below for details. no advertising or retargeting scripts are used.

why we collect it

your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, or to make, deliver and invoice your order. the legal basis is the performance of a pre-contractual or contractual relationship (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to communications directed to us (Art. 6(1)(f)).

how long we keep it

we retain your contact information for as long as necessary to respond to and complete your enquiry or commission, and no longer than three years thereafter unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

who we share it with

we never sell or rent your personal data. it is shared only with the services needed to run the studio, and only for that purpose: Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam, Netherlands) for payments, Infomaniak Network SA (Geneva, Switzerland) for hosting and email, Formspree Inc. (United States) for the forms on this website, and the carrier that delivers your order.

your rights

under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. to exercise any of these rights, contact us at studio@moriana.eu.

terms

some objects can be ordered and paid directly on this website. others are made on commission, agreed directly between the buyer and the studio by email. the contract is concluded once the payment is received.

prices

all prices shown are in euros (€), inclusive of Belgian VAT where applicable. shipping costs, where applicable, are shown before payment.

production and delivery

each object is made to order and finished by hand in Antwerp. after your order, we write to you by email with the production timeline and delivery details. objects can be collected in person in Antwerp or Brussels, or shipped.

right of withdrawal

under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason.

note: objects made to order or personalised to your specifications are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. this is stated on the object's page before you order.

to exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at studio@moriana.eu before the 14-day period expires. return shipping costs are borne by the buyer unless the object is defective.

applicable law

these terms are governed by Belgian law. any dispute arising from a transaction with moriana that cannot be resolved amicably is subject to the competent Belgian courts.

cookies

moriana.eu uses Google Analytics to measure anonymous traffic data (pages visited, referral sources, approximate location by country). this service sets cookies on your device only if you give your consent via the banner shown on your first visit.

if you refuse, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. your preference is stored in your browser's local storage and remembered for future visits. you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser data.
